Many customers with a Discretionary Trust, don't need to contact us to amend Beneficiaries.

This 90 second video provides some guidance.

As the video explains:

• With L&G's Discretionary Trust there is a list of people who are eligible to be Beneficiaries, such as a spouse or child.
• You don't need to inform us if the new Beneficiary is already included in the list.
• You can see this list on page four of your Discretionary Trust.
• In the event of a valid claim the proceeds of your policy would be paid to the Trustees.
• The Trustees then choose from the list who gets the proceeds of the policy.
• You can guide Trustees with a Letter of Wishes.
